Applications are sought for the following position:
Education Support Officers
As an Education Support Officer, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide support for students and contribute to a positive learning environment.
There are Full Time and Part Time positions available at our Logan Village campus for 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting students individually and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with classroom learning activities and preparation.
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and participation.
• Providing additional support for students with diverse learning needs.
• Assisting with supervision duties and school activities as required.
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will:
• Demonstrate a commitment to Christian values and the mission of Christian education.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Be organised, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

King’s is an expanding, multi-Campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian Leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. Our programs challenge and shape students’ thinking and understanding of their role in the world.

Our College currently consists of 3 dynamic campuses, with several more campuses in the planning stages, serving the communities in which they are located.
The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
King's Christian College is committed to acting in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (QLD) to promote the safety and wellbeing of all students. As such, candidates will be subject to a Qld Teacher Registration check or Blue Card screening and other relevant checks as required.
