Surveyor – Earthmoving & Civil Construction
Pullella Earthmoving | Perth, WA
Pullella Earthmoving is a well-established earthworks contractor delivering civil and construction projects across Western Australia. We're looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team and support our fleet of GPS and UTS-guided machinery.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for site surveying, machine control setup, and data management across our earthworks projects in the Perth Metro area, working closely with our operators, supervisors, and estimating team to ensure accurate setout and as-built data throughout each job.
Key Responsibilities:
Site setout, survey checks, and quality control across active earthworks sites
Preparation and management of 3D surface models and machine control data
Set up and support of Trimble UTS (universal total station) systems on graders and posi-tracks
Set up and support of Trimble GPS systems on excavators and posi-tracks
Liaise with client/project surveyors to obtain and verify design data
Maintain accurate survey records, as-built data, and site diaries
Troubleshoot machine control and survey equipment issues on-site
Work closely with site supervisors and operators to ensure surface accuracy and job progress
About You:
Proven experience as a surveyor in civil construction or earthmoving
Strong working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment and machine control systems (UTS and GPS)
Experience with Trimble Business Center (or similar) for model building and data processing
Sound understanding of earthworks, road, and civil construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously on-site
Current driver's licence and White Card required
