South Western Sydney Local Health District is recruiting for a Facilities Management Project Officer to complement and enhance the current Engineering Department to support the Digital Health Facility (ICT) and Liverpool Hospital Campus. To provide high quality facilities management services and support to the Digital Health Facility and Liverpool Hospital campus in general. To manage and undertake provisions of preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance to plant and equipment as directed. Implement and monitor systems to ensure quality standards and contractor performance and ongoing improvements in safety management. Working within a team of trade staff and providing support to other trades, engineering and administration staff as required.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in facilities management of critical infrastructure or ICT facility.Demonstrated knowledge of hospital/community health engineering and building services requirements.Demonstrated knowledge & experience in at least one of: defect/warranty management; energy management; emergency planning; or project management.Ability to strategically plan the maintenance resources and development needs of ITC facilities or data centres, including the ability to technical plans and apply health facility design guidelines.Previous experience in facilities management, preventative and corrective/reactive maintenance, contractor and stakeholder management of large complex building or IT facilities. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
