About the role
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Vineyard Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of a newly developed vineyard in Southern Tasmania. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality vineyard operations that support productivity, viticultural excellence and investor returns. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on agricultural professional who is looking to further develop their leadership capability and contribute to the promising future of a premium cool-climate vineyard.
About the Role
As Vineyard Supervisor, you will lead and supervise permanent, casual and contract workers while actively participating in vineyard operations. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to deliver seasonal work programs across canopy management, irrigation, machinery operations, vineyard maintenance and safety.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing team leadership with practical operational work. For the right candidate, the position will also provide exposure to spray programs, budgets and the broader commercial aspects of vineyard management, with the opportunity to continue developing towards a future site management position.

What we are looking for
You are an experienced vineyard or agricultural professional with strong practical capability and the confidence to guide and support others. You are safety-conscious, proactive and attentive to detail, with the flexibility to work across a broad range of vineyard activities.
You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You bring a practical approach to solving problems, an interest in agricultural technology and a genuine desire to improve how work is planned and delivered.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
Previous vineyard or broader agricultural experience.
Experience operating and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment.
Experience working with irrigation systems in an agricultural environment.
People leadership, team-building or coaching capability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sound computer and technology skills.
Good organisational and time-management capability.
A practical, solutions-focused approach to operational challenges.
Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing seasonal and operational requirements.
A strong commitment to working safely in all areas.
A current open driver’s licence.
