Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The roles

The College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Visual Arts Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team and inspire students to develop their artistic talents, critical thinking skills, and appreciation of the visual arts.

In addition to holding a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation, the successful candidates will be able to:

• Teach Visual Arts Stages 4-6.
• Demonstrated capability across a variety of traditional and/or digital 3D sculptural techniques. With experience in 3D printing and laser cutting technologies.
• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, to produce effective and visually compelling design materials.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated Visual Arts lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum.
• Contribute to extracurricular arts activities, exhibitions and school events.
• Assess, monitor, provide feedback on, and report student progress and achievement.
• Develop and implement curriculum programs and assessments across a range of stages (preferred but not essential).
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support student learning and College wide initiatives.
• Confidently implement new syllabus and curriculum requirements.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Use contemporary pedagogical practices, differentiated teaching strategies, and innovative resources to maximise student engagement and outcomes.
• Effectively manage student behaviour and foster a positive learning culture.
• Ability and willingness to teach an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) or subject area will be highly regarded.

The ability to teach an additional subject be highly desirable.
