Enrolled Nurse (Aged Care)

Pathways Residences is a 5-star Residential Aged Care provider in Sydney. We are looking for Enrolled Nurses for our  brand new state of the art 122-bed home in Longueville to make an impact to the quality of service we deliver to our residents.

The role:

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Mondays and Wednesdays 0645-1500

Responding to wounds, falls, and medication needs is all in a day's work in Aged Care. This role operates under the support and supervision of a Registered Nurse, leading Personal Care Workers to ensure high-quality clinical care. Pathways is proud to maintain staffing ratios above industry standards.

About you:

• We are after enrolled nurses who are passionate about delivering quality care to our older Australians

• Experience in aged care/geriatrics highly valued

• Minimum 1-2 years of aged care/geriatrics experience required

• Knowledge and understanding of: accreditation processes, codes of conduct, WHS, Infection Control, Compliant Management, SIRS Reporting, Restrictive Practices, and the Aged Care Quality Standards

• Basic awareness of accreditation processes, codes of conduct, WHS, Infection Control, Compliant Management, SIRS Reporting, Restrictive Practices, and the Aged Care Quality Standards required

• Able to manage a small team of PCWs, be computer literate, have sound verbal and written communication abilities

• Analytical, a problem solver, and friendly to work with

A few requirements of the role:

• Diploma in Nursing + AHPRA registration

• COVID vaccine and flu shot

• Right to work in Australia + 100 Points of ID

• Current police check
