Qualified Arborist – Level 3

Rigoni Tree Solutions is seeking an experienced Qualified Level 3 Arborist to join our professional and growing team.

Based in Keysborough, we undertake a diverse range of arboricultural and vegetation management works across Melbourne, including commercial projects, major arterial roads, freeway works and private tree work.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety, professionalism and teamwork.

This position will commence with a 3-month trial period, with a view to permanent employment for the right applicant. A company vehicle is included, with the hourly rate negotiated based on qualifications, experience and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Tree pruning, maintenance and removals using hand tools and chainsaws
• Aerial tree work through climbing and Elevated Work Platforms (EWP)
• Ground-based pruning and tree maintenance
• MR truck driving
• Chipper operation
• Stump grinding, mulching and general arboricultural ground operations
• Chainsaw maintenance and pre-operational equipment checks
• Safe operation and care of company vehicles, plant and equipment
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a professional crew

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent
• Current MR Driver Licence
• Demonstrated experience in tree pruning and removals
• Strong understanding of safe arboricultural work practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, motivated and able to work with a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work

Highly Regarded

The following qualifications and experience would be an advantage:

• White Card
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
• Excavator and/or skid steer competency/licence
• Certificate II in ESI – Powerline Vegetation Control
• High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR
• Experience working on road, freeway or commercial vegetation management projects
