Performance Media Growth Strategist

An exciting opportunity exists for a Growth Strategist (Performance Media) at Chicken Dinner, a performance marketing agency founded by ex-Google Growth Manager Ben Drew. We challenge the traditional agency model by embedding AI-enabled senior talent directly into clients, removing layers and moving faster from strategy to execution. We specialise in Google Ads, Meta Ads and SEO, and we’re growing quickly across Australia, the US and the UK.

Requirements

• Proven performance marketing results with deep Google Ads expertise (structure, bidding, automation, analysis)

• Strong experience managing Meta Ads and other paid channels

• Confident in client-facing communication and stakeholder management

• Commercially minded: comfortable discussing growth strategy, value, and opportunities

• Strong analytical ability with a clear, action-oriented approach to reporting

• Leadership mindset with the ability to coach others and thrive in a fast-moving environment

• Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing (preferred, not essential)

Responsibilities

• Own performance strategy and hands-on delivery across Google Ads (core), Meta Ads and other paid channels

• Lead client relationships end-to-end: meetings, QBRs, strategy sessions, and proactive opportunity/risk management

• Turn performance data into clear insights and decisive actions, improving account outcomes continuously

• Drive commercial growth via upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support new-business pitches

• Mentor junior strategists and contribute to internal training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing

• Improve SOPs, workflows and delivery systems as the agency scales; represent the agency via content (video/webinars/thought leadership)
