Community Support Worker

Our team has an increasing requirement for engaged, experienced and dedicated Support Workers/Personal Care Assistants for ongoing, consistent rosters, to support our clients to live well, in the comfort of their own homes.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this important and rewarding work, you will have:

• Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable car to transport clients

• Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Disability Services

• First Aid Certificate

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• CPR Practical

• Minimum 6 months paid experience working as a Support Worker or Personal Care Assistant in community setting

• Current Police Clearance (if you don’t have we will provide at no cost)

• An empathetic, patient and caring nature

• Exceptional communication skills & be able to build respectful relationships.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the community team, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life by helping with everyday activities and assisting them to do the things they love. Every client is different, and tasks may include:

• Assistance with personal care (showering and dressing)

• Household cleaning and laundry

• Meal preparation

• Transport to and from appointments / shops

• Social support

• Providing respite for family

• Assisting with complex care needs
