Quality Compliance Lead - Retirement Living

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Quality Compliance Lead to support quality assurance, governance, risk management and compliance across our Retirement Living communities. This role will lead the design, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality and compliance systems, ensuring services are delivered in line with relevant legislation, industry standards and organisational requirements.

Working collaboratively with operational leaders, village managers and internal stakeholders, you will provide practical guidance, strengthen governance processes and support a proactive approach to resident safety, service quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor quality management and compliance systems across Retirement Living communities.
• Interpret and communicate relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including retirement villages, work health and safety, privacy and aged care obligations.
• Plan, coordinate and support internal and external audits, accreditation activities and quality reviews.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigation processes, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and review quality, compliance, policy and procedure documentation.
• Prepare clear reports, insights and recommendations to support operational and leadership decision-making.
• Build capability across teams through coaching, guidance and quality and compliance training.
• Develop strong working relationships with village managers, operational teams and key internal stakeholders.

About You

You will bring strong quality, compliance and governance experience, together with the ability to interpret complex regulatory information and translate it into clear, practical guidance. You will be confident working with a range of stakeholders, managing competing priorities and driving improvements that support positive resident outcomes.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• A degree or postgraduate qualification in Quality Management, Business or a related discipline.
• At least five years’ experience in assurance, compliance, auditing or a related role, ideally within retirement living, aged care or human services.
• Demonstrated experience conducting audits, managing incidents and supporting continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of retirement villages legislation and relevant compliance frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Experience using risk, incident management, reporting or process improvement systems and tools.
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Essential Requirements

• National Police Clearance Certificate no older than six months or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination in line with Amana Living policies.
• Current Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence.
