Childcare Trainee

About the role

Join Lakeview Pre-School in Primbee, NSW as a full-time Childcare Trainee. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children enrolled at our vibrant and nurturing pre-school.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with the implementation of developmentally appropriate educational programs and activities that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children

2. Providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children

3. Participating in the observation and documentation of children's progress and development

4. Engaging in regular communication with parents and families to build positive relationships

5. Assisting with the general operations and maintenance of the pre-school

6. Undertaking relevant training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

1. A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their wellbeing

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

4. A willingness to learn and develop your skills in early childhood education

5. A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one

6. Australian citizenship status is required for this position
