West Moreton Health is one of Queensland's most diverse and rapidly evolving health services, delivering health care to over 300,000 people across Ipswich, Boonah, Gatton, Laidley, and Esk.
We provide preventative and primary healthcare services, ambulatory services, acute care, sub-acute care, oral health, mental health and other specialised services, including prison and youth detention health services, and alcohol and other drugs services to the region.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Advanced clinical evidence-based skill and knowledge in nursing, care coordination and interdisciplinary care management, evidenced by recency of practice and achieved clinical and professional competencies.Leadership proficiency through the articulation of team engagement principles and personal attributes that influence a positive team culture and achieve active collaboration across multidiscipline services.Proficiency in the establishment of therapeutic relationships, incorporating health education, advocacy and culturally competent professional practices that facilitate achieving patient identified goals and optimised health experiences.Demonstrated ability to collaborate at a work unit/service area level and/or across professions to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes.Applied knowledge of quality improvement frameworks and associated quality processes inclusive of the integration of nursing / midwifery research, identifying experiences that evidence a professional commitment to contributing to quality improvement.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and provide independent professional judgement and expertise in problem solving and clinical management.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
