The Role
Reporting to the Head of Foundation & Community, you will be responsible for growing the Panthers Foundation’s commercial and philanthropic outcomes. Working closely with the Head of Foundation & Community, you will develop and deliver strategies to enhance corporate partnerships, increase fundraising opportunities, support major events, and grow targeted coterie and supporter groups.
This position may be appointed on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of the Panthers Foundation Strategic Plan.Build and maintain strong relationships across the Foundation’s philanthropic and corporate network, delivering exceptional stakeholder service while identifying opportunities for growth and increased engagement.Develop and secure new partnerships with funders, donors and sponsors to generate sustainable revenue and support the Foundation’s long-term objectives.Identify, develop and grow new revenue streams to enhance the Foundation’s financial sustainability.Lead and support the planning, coordination and delivery of the Foundation’s events and fundraising program.Work closely with program delivery teams to understand, articulate and promote the impact and outcomes of the Foundation’s initiatives.Support the Foundation at Panthers NRL home games and other club and community events as required.Champion and deliver the Panthers Foundation brand experience across all stakeholder touchpoints, both internally and externally.Recruit, lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability and excellence.Optimise the utilisation and return on the Foundation’s assets and resources.Ensure compliance with all legislative, governance and organisational obligations.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Sport Management, Business, Community Development or a related field (or significant equivalent industry experience).1-2 years’ experience in events, partnerships, business development, sponsorship or fundraising.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong computer literacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a professional approach.Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.Strong organisational, negotiation and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.Availability to work evenings, weekends and Panthers match days as required.

Essential Requirements
