Our ideal candidate enjoys a mix of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and either gym based, or Pilates based rehabilitation. Preference will be given to a practitioner with a special area of interest our leadership team can help you develop. 

The role

• The hours required for this role are completed negotiable - anywhere from 20 hours to 38 hours a week is fine for the right applicant

• You will treat a variety of musculoskeletal clients and we can assist you in building a niched caseload to suit a special area of interest

• We will consider applicants with any level of experience

• Your salary package includes a bonus/commission structure which allows you to take home an extra $20,000-$50,000 per year in performance based bonuses

• New graduates who consider themselves mature and exceptional with a strong desire to work in private practice and some previous private practice exposure either through paid employment or prac placement experience are welcome to apply

• A mix of mornings and evenings, with some availability to work Saturdays, would be desireable.

Ideally our successful candidate will be commencing by the middle of September.

Parmelia Physiotherapy has been through a period of rapid growth, through a combination of top-quality clinical care, advanced exercise rehabilitation and exercise therapy and welcoming and friendly culture. We are looking forward to welcoming a new member to our team.

Parmelia Physiotherapy has been operating in the Kwinana area for over 20 years. Last year we expanded into a new custom designed premises, with new pilates and rehab gym, and large and light private consulting rooms (no curtains!)

We operate as a part of a family owned group of 4 allied health clinics with 7 clinic locations, meaning there is greater opportunity for further career progression. Create your own niche, mentor and train other clinicians, even future opportunities for management and equity partnership for the right person.

As part of this group, we offer structured, ongoing PD and training programs, as well as the opportunity to participate in structured clinical Pilates training.

We pride ourselves on creating excellent careers for physiotherapists and understand the rigours and demands of private practice (many of our full time clinicians work 30-33 hours per week and earn above average full time salaries). We are able to create a flexible position for our ideal candidate.
