About the role
VACCHO is committed to supporting our staff through a hybrid work model that balances flexibility with connection.
All new staff complete a three-month training and onboarding period in the office. This ensures they receive the right support, build relationships, and develop a strong understanding of VACCHO’s systems and ways of working.
Following this period, staff may request for working from home to be considered for up to two days per week for full-time staff and scaled back for 0.8 FTE and 0.6 FTE staff. This hybrid model allows us to stay collaborative and connected while also supporting our team to enjoy the benefits of flexibility and work–life balance.

Location: Collingwood, VIC (Hybrid Work Model)
Employment Type: Full-time, Maximum-term (until June 2028)
Salary: $100,000-$110,000 per annum (plus super)

VACCHO is the peak representative for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria.
We have 35 member Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations providing support to over 78,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the state. We lead and support Aboriginal Community Control and the broader health and social services sector to deliver transformative health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal communities in Victoria. About the role
This role of the Workplace Coordinator will support the successful integration of training and assessment within the workplace. The role ensures students receive structured, meaningful on-the-job learning experiences and that workplace supervisors understand their responsibilities in supporting competency development in line with the accredited training requirements. This position works in close partnership with the Trainers and Assessors, the Management team and the RTO Director in managing compliance, supporting students and improving outcomes.
Essential skills/experiences
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years’ experience working in an RTO in a relevant role, hold a valid TAE qualification and a sound understanding of the VET sector and ASQA Standards 2025. You will hold relevant vocational qualifications at least to the level of qualification being delivered and assessed from the Aboriginal Health, Community Services and/ or Business training packages and demonstrated industry experience relevant to the qualification area.
In addition, you will hit the ground running, bringing your skills and capabilities in the following areas to help you succeed:
You will also be required to travel to regional areas to support students in regional towns.
