Sales & Business Development Executive

About the role

This is a hands-on sales role focused on finding and developing new customers. You will be expected to get out into the market, knock on doors, make cold calls and actively find new business — not simply wait for leads to come in.

Key responsibilities

• Cold call prospective customers and introduce our products

• Visit retailers and businesses in person to generate new opportunities

• Walk into stores and speak with owners, managers, buyers and other decision-makers

• Prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels

• Develop new business across baby retailers, pharmacies, independent retailers, wholesalers and distributors

• Arrange meetings, product presentations and samples

• Follow up consistently with potential customers

• Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales opportunities

• Build and manage your own sales pipeline from the ground up

• Maintain relationships with new and existing customers

About you

• Some experience in sales, business development, retail, customer service or account management

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Confidence picking up the phone and cold calling potential customers

• Willingness to visit businesses and approach potential customers face-to-face

• Persistence and the ability to follow up opportunities consistently

• A practical, results-focused attitude

• Fluent written and spoken English, Native level preferred

• A genuine interest in building a career in sales and business development
