Housekeeper – Daily, 3-5 Days Per Week

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy and experienced Housekeeper to assist with the day-to-day running of a private household. This is a regular position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and organised home and is comfortable assisting with general household tasks and errands.

The successful applicant will be responsible for keeping the home clean and organised while also helping with various errands and household duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the home, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and maintaining floors
• Laundry and general household upkeep
• Tidying and maintaining an organised home
• Organising cupboards, wardrobes and household areas as required
• Changing beds and maintaining linen
• Running household errands and grocery shopping
• Dropping off and collecting items when required
• Assisting with general household organisation and tasks
• Other reasonable household duties as required

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Experienced in private-home housekeeping
• Highly organised and takes pride in their work
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness
• Friendly, respectful and professional
• Flexible and willing to assist with various household tasks
• Comfortable around children

Requirements

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) – essential
• Current driver’s licence – essential
• Reliable access to a vehicle
• Previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience preferred
• References required
• Must have the right to work in Australia
