Rivergum Allied Therapies is a growing multidisciplinary allied health provider delivering high-quality, evidence-based services across regional Victoria. As we continue to expand our workforce, service offerings and geographic footprint, we are seeking an experienced Business Manager to provide operational leadership across the organisation.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business. Working closely with the Directors, you will coordinate our management team, oversee organisational performance and ensure the business operates efficiently, collaboratively and in line with our strategic objectives.

We're not looking for someone to simply manage the business as it exists today, we're looking for someone who is excited by the challenge of building the business we'll become tomorrow.

About the role

As Business Manager, you will become the operational leader of the organisation, providing oversight across all business functions while working closely with an established management team.

You will coordinate managers across:

• Practice Management

• Finance & Compliance

• People & Talent

• Clinical Services

• Business Development

Rather than managing each department directly, your role will be to ensure the organisation operates as one cohesive business. You will coordinate the leadership team, drive accountability, improve systems and processes, oversee organisational performance and ensure strategic priorities are translated into operational outcomes.

Working alongside the Directors, you will progressively assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of the organisation, allowing them to focus on governance, strategic growth and the future direction of Rivergum. 

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the organisation.

• Coordinate and support the management team.

• Provide oversight across all operational areas of the business.

• Translate strategic direction into operational outcomes.

• Monitor organisational performance and key business metrics.

• Drive accountability across departments.

• Chair and coordinate leadership meetings.

• Lead organisational projects and strategic initiatives.

• Improve business systems, workflows and operational efficiency.

• Champion innovation and continuous improvement.

• Support sustainable growth across new service areas and geographic locations.

• Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.

• Promote staff engagement, leadership development and retention.

• Support the delivery of gold-standard, evidence-based allied health services through effective operational leadership.

• Ensure high standards of governance, quality and compliance are maintained.

• Provide regular operational reporting and recommendations to the Directors.
