Position Details

Holy Rosary School is seeking a dynamic, innovative and faith-filled Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional educator who is passionate about leading high-impact teaching and learning, fostering student wellbeing, and shaping a culture of excellence grounded in our Catholic faith.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep understanding of the Science of Learning, evidence-based teaching practices, and contemporary approaches to student wellbeing. Holy Rosary School is a vibrant, co-educational double-stream primary school located in Doubleview, catering for approximately 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school enjoys a strong reputation for academic excellence, pastoral care, and meaningful partnerships between home, school and parish.

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
•  Active membership of the Catholic Church and a commitment to living Gospel values within the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
•  Proven leadership experience with the capacity to contribute strategically to whole-school improvement and school priorities.
•  Experience leading curriculum improvement, particularly in Literacy and Numeracy, using evidence-based practices.
•  Success in leading Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) that promote collaboration, accountability and student achievement.
•  A strong commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and positive behaviour support.
•  Excellent knowledge and application of the Science of Learning.
•  Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the school, parish and wider community.

Qualifications required 
•  CEWA Accreditation to Lead.
•  Relevant tertiary qualifications.
•  Assistant Principal leadership experience (desirable).
