Contribute to innovative Speech and Language Therapy teaching, research and curriculum development while supporting student success and engagement.

About the Position
As a Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching across Speech and Language Therapy and Health Sciences programs. You will develop and coordinate innovative units and courses, deliver engaging learning experiences across on-campus and flexible modes, monitor student progress, and contribute to course accreditation and continuous improvement.

You will also undertake research and scholarly activities, pursue funding opportunities, supervise research, and build collaborative relationships with industry, government, professional bodies and partner universities. Through academic leadership and professional engagement, you will contribute to the growth of the discipline and enhance student experience and outcomes.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

• Possession of an accredited degree in Speech and Language Therapy and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• An emerging research profile of publications/research projects or progress towards a research plan.
• Ability to work collaboratively in the development of appropriate programs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings and discipline committees.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop subjects for online delivery.
• Evidence of a sound undergraduate academic record including clinical placement.
•  Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
• Demonstrated interest and desire to obtain post-graduate teaching qualifications.
• Willingness to embrace the knowledge, skills and ideals of practice in rural and remote areas.
• Commitment to the University’s values.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $116,429 - $137,659 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $136,221 - $161,061 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
