Management Accountant

The Opportunity 

Based in Perth and reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, and business partnering support. You’ll work closely with operational leaders across the organisation to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Delivering accurate and timely monthly management reporting, including financial analysis and insights to support business performance.  
• Partnering with operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making.  
• Monitoring financial performance, investigating variances, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.  
• Managing key taxation and compliance obligations, including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.  
• Overseeing payroll reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial controls and compliance processes are maintained. 
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems, reporting, and business processes. 

What we’re looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline 
• CPA, CA or relevant qualification 
• Significant Australian experience in relevant finance leadership role 
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis 
• Sound understanding of Australian taxation requirements including GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax, and statutory compliance 
• Advanced MS skills, including Excel, Power Query and Power BI 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities 
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills 
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
