Digital-Wide Format Print Factory All rounder (local)

The opportunity

Inspired Printing seeks a motivated, skilled, flexible Digital Print/ Wide Format Printing, Packing and Fulfilment
All-Rounder to join our dynamic and growing production team at our Campbellfield Facility.
This critical hands-on role requires someone who can work under deadline pressure on print jobs and efficiently handle multiple aspects of the printing production process, finishing, picking, and packing, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist in operating digital printers such as Indigo and Xerox, as well as wide-format printers and laminators.

·       Assist with the operation of loading and unloading the grand format press roll, including roll-to-roll handling and flat bed printing.

·       Operate finishing equipment like guillotines, folders, binding machines, booklet makers, and drills.

·       Handle large format finishing tasks such as cutting with robotic cutters, sewing, gluing, packing, and dispatching.

·       Monitor print quality and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent output.

·       Assist in finishing, picking and packing to ensure deadlines are met.

·       Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to maintain optimal performance.

·       Perform warehousing, stock and inventory, and order materials as required.

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

·       Collaborate with the broader team to deliver projects efficiently.

·       Liaise with the production manager and fulfilment, and assist in relevant departments as the workloads increase 

Skills & Qualifications:

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in digital and/or wide-format printing.

·       Proven ability to operate a wide range of printing and finishing equipment.

·       An overall understanding of printing workflows, colour accuracy, and file setup.

·       Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

·       Self-motivated with the ability to run operations independently.

·       Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.

·       Have worked with printing RIP's ie Fiery and Onyx
