We are currently recruiting for 3 Production Operator positions across our Day and Afternoon shifts. If you are an experienced operator who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Location: Smithfield, Sydney

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 6:00am start

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm start

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor or Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for manufacturing products safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About The Role

In this hands-on role, you will work across a variety of production processes and equipment to complete daily manufacturing batches in line with production schedules and company standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food, flavour, ingredient, or chemical manufacturing who enjoys working in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture products safely, accurately, and efficiently in accordance with production instructions and quality standardsRead and follow manufacturing instructions, formulas, and bill of materialsOperate designated production equipment and machinery including blending, batching, mixing, packaging, filtering, heating, and compounding systemsLoad raw materials and intermediates into production equipmentComplete production records accurately and maintain documentation standardsAssist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during production processesPerform in-process quality checks and identify/report deviations in line with proceduresPrepare products for packaging and shipmentMaintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environmentWork in compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, environmental, and safety standardsParticipate in Lean and continuous improvement activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

1–3 years’ experience in flavour, ingredient, food, or chemical manufacturingStrong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accuratelyA proactive and team-oriented attitudeGood problem-solving skills and willingness to learnForklift operating experience or licence (preferred)

Physical Requirements

This role requires manual handling and physical activity, including:

Lifting up to 25kgPushing/pulling up to 35kg
