Carpenter – Commercial Building Projects

New Position - Immediate start available ! Carpenter - Commercial Building, Maintenance & Minor Works.

Are you a trade qualified, skilled carpenter looking for a stable role with a respected commercial builder?

Wide variety of work tasks from facilities maintenance, to Government and Council tender works to larger scale Design & Construct projects, office fit-outs and tenancy sub-divisions.

You’ll be working within a supportive, harmonious and relaxed team culture that values quality workmanship, safety, and professional growth.

Typical tasks:

• Carry out carpentry and general building works across commercial assets: reactive repairs, scheduled maintenance, refurbishment and fit-out projects.

• Deliver works across a variety of job types including Government minor works, office fit-outs, tenancy sub-divisions and small-scale design & construct projects.

• Interpret work orders and drawings, plan tasks, and deliver to a high standard of finish and compliance.

• Work autonomously or as part of the maintenance and projects team to meet client expectations and deadlines.

• Maintain company-supplied tools, PPE, vehicle and fuel card responsibly.

• Report to the Onsite Team Leader and Snr Management Team and uphold the company’s commitment to a positive, team-focused workplace.

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).

• Proven experience in commercial construction or building maintenance, including fit-outs and minor works.

• Current QLD White Card (essential), Working at Heights and Yellow Card (Desirable).

• Current C-Class driver’s licence.

• Reliable, safety-conscious and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with pride in delivering quality outcomes.
