Tradesman Carpenters/Concreters

Slamm Services is seeking an experienced Tradesman Carpenter / Concreter to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong carpentry and concreting experience who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working across a variety of civil construction projects.

Working as part of our civil construction team, you will be involved in a range of works across Mackay and the Bowen Basin, including:

• Formwork, boxing and preparation for concrete works

• Concrete placement, finishing and associated works

• Construction of slabs, footings and other concrete structures

• General carpentry and minor building works

• Civil construction and site works as required

• Reading and working from drawings and specifications

• Working safely and efficiently alongside supervisors, operators and other trades

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant carpentry trade qualification

• Has demonstrated concreting and formwork experience

• Has experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining environments

• Produces a high standard of workmanship and takes pride in the finished product

• Is reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a team

• Has a strong commitment to safety

• Holds a current Driver Licence and Construction White Card

• Holds relevant site competencies/tickets where applicable

Experience working on mine sites or within heavy industry will be highly regarded.
