About the Role

As our IT Support Technician, you will provide responsive, hands-on and remote technical support to team members.

You’ll work with MacBooks, Windows PCs, Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, business systems, networks and peripheral devices. You’ll help keep our technology running smoothly, resolve day-to-day issues and ensure team members have reliable access to the systems and equipment they need.

This is a practical, service-focused role where you’ll be visible and accessible to the people you support. You’ll also contribute to improving our IT processes, documentation, asset management and cybersecurity awareness.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in our Docklands office five days per week.

In this role, you will:

• Provide onsite technical support for MacBooks, Windows PCs, peripheral devices and other workplace technology.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving macOS, Windows, Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
• Set up and configure devices, hardware, software and user access for new and existing team members.
• Support user account administration, application access and licence allocation.
• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, support records, troubleshooting guides, setup procedures and user instructions.
• Support endpoint protection, Sophos firewalls, email security and secure system configurations.
• Help educate team members about cybersecurity risks, including phishing and social engineering attempts.
• Assist with security incidents and escalate issues where required.
• Provide friendly, practical support and communicate technical information clearly.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve systems, processes and the user experience.
• Take ownership of your development and continue building your technical capability.

About You

You may already have hands-on experience in IT or desktop support, or you may have completed relevant professional training and be looking for an opportunity to build your career.

You will ideally have:

• Experience or professional training in IT support, desktop support or a related area.
• Knowledge of macOS and MacBook hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows support and configuration.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• An understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and a patient, service-focused approach.
• The ability to organise your workload, manage competing requests and follow issues through to resolution.
• The confidence to work independently while recognising when an issue should be escalated.
• A willingness to learn, receive feedback and continue developing your technical skills.

Experience with Sophos firewalls, endpoint protection or email security systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
