Please note: We are looking for someone located in Cairns or Townsville. Territory covers Cairns to Mackay and includes Darwin. This is a work from home-based role, however you will be expected to spend 3-4 days per week on the road.

Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for growing, sustaining and nurturing the relationship between Leafio (Montu’s wholesale division) and key pharmacy customers.

This hybrid role is responsible for managing, nurturing and growing existing portfolios, as well as acquiring new business. The KAM will provide high-quality end-to-end account management and drive order volume and revenue growth across approximately 55 key accounts in the assigned territory. Additionally, this position involves maintaining relationships with and educating local doctors across Far North Queensland (FNQ) on Leafio products and services.

Driving Order Volume Growth: 
From existing accounts:

• Develop a complete understanding of pharmacy needs to help growth via ordering consolidation 
• Increase order volume within the designated territory by establishing strong relationships with existing pharmacy partners and achieving monthly targets. 
• Acquire referrals from pharmacy partners to prescribing Doctors and clinics. 

From new accounts:

• Prospect and acquire new pharmacy partners to the Leafio platform, converting leads into valuable partnerships through incubating new accounts to maturity. 

Relationship Building:

• Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships between Montu and pharmacy partners, acting as their dedicated point of contact. 
• Address partner issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure resolutions are achieved.

Strategic Initiatives:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and develop new value-added initiatives that enhance the partnership experience.
• Collaborate with the Montu product category team to share and develop trends and initiatives from market insight. 
• Engage in strategic planning to improve pharmacy results and drive mutual success. 
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives for internal teams, stakeholders, and potential use in case studies or training sessions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in in-person key account management, ideally managing a similar amount of accounts 
• Experience owning and managing a territory where you visit customers face to face.
• Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes and meet sales targets
• Experience in industries with short sales cycles is highly desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in conducting market analysis and staying abreast of industry trends
