Livia Arena is an independent contemporary womenswear label based in Collingwood, Victoria.

In 2016, following 6 years of operation, Livia Arena underwent a major restructuring in order to increase sustainability, ethics, and production quality, harking back to a heritage model of production and selling from the same space. The flagship store is located within the same building as the Livia Arena Studio-Factory, in which all design and production work is carried out by a small and dedicated team.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled full garment machinist to work alongside our production team in our Collingwood Studio-Factory. You should have great attention to detail, produce quality work efficiently, be punctual, and display professionalism. We are a very small, close-knit team so working well with and being respectful of others is essential. You must be able to work with a wide range of fabrics, both knit and woven, from fine silk to wool coating. 

Qualifications

Ideally, applicants will have at least three years experience in garment machining, as well as experience preparing samples.

Possessing good English skills is an advantage but not essential.

Additional Information

Salary is negotiable, but well paid, based on experience. 

This position is casual and hours are negotiable.
