Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring, and committed people to provide support to assist people living in their own homes to enable independence.

Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised disability support services – a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry.

Disability Support Work is an important and rapidly expanding industry with high levels of satisfaction and security.

What Support is being provided :

Seeking care to support participants within a group home. Your support will enable them to live independently within the home by assiting with their day to day living and goals.

• Assistance with personal care tasks
• Community participation
• Light domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Drive modified vehicle
• Hoisting

Shift Times :

There are a variety of shifts available - Please note your avaiablity in your application.

Requirements

• Current references
• Mobile phone
• Current drivers licence - essential
• NDIS Worker’s Clearance or willing to obtain
• Valid First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/ Disability) or similar
