Parts Interpreter/Customer Service

Customer Service Team Member 

At SWD we are passionate about providing a high level of service for our customers. We are seeking highly motivated, resilient, reliable, and positive customer service professionals with skills and experience to join our customer service team. The purpose of this role is to create exceptional customer service experiences for our customers as you meet and exceed their expectations.

The Role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced internal salesperson to join our team at our Woodridge location.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Answering a high volume of inbound calls in a timely manner

• Accurately interpreting and processing customer orders for parts and accessories

• Processing online trade orders

• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders

• Building and developing customer rapport and assisting customers with their enquiries

• Proactively and positively communicating with customers with regards to delays or issues that may arise and effectively resolve customer complaints.

• Actively contribute to the ongoing promotion of our products, during inbound calls and when making outbound calls.

• Making outbound calls to confirm sales leads and generate sales opportunities for sales representatives.

• Manage time efficiently and effectively, and maintain professional correspondence via emails

This role will see you building pivotal relationships with our customers through inbound sales enquiries, providing technical advice and product information as well as maintaining a continuous, high level of customer service whilst engaging with our team.

About you

Demonstrated experience in a Customer Service/Parts Interpretation role with the ability to engage with all stakeholders both internally and externally

• Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar role within the automotive industry

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and their applications

• Responding to customer enquiries through email, telephone and online enquiries

• Intermediate MS office suite and ERP skills – Pronto, SAP or similar

• A strong customer service ethic

• Excellent interpersonal abilities with well-developed communication skills, to be flexible and empathetic in their approach

• Ability to problem solve and provide effective technical solutions.

• Enthusiastic and driven to develop and increase your own product knowledge and capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Ability to work Full time hours, 38 hours per week across 5 days.

• Ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations
