Tipper Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tipper Truck Driver to join our team at Steve Jones Hardware and Landscaper Super Centre in Everton Hills, Queensland. Permanent, part-time and casual positions available, offering *flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating a tipper truck to deliver a variety of building and landscaping materials to customers across the local area (lifting maybe required at times)

2. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely deliveries

3. Conducting daily pre-start vehicle checks and reporting any issues

4. Securing loads and unloading materials at customer sites

5. Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation

What we're looking for

1. Hold a valid MR licence (Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence desirable)

2. Minimum 2 years' experience operating tipper trucks or similar commercial vehicles

3. Excellent driving skills and a strong safety focus

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

5. Good customer service skills and a positive, helpful attitude

6. Knowledge of road rules and transport regulations

7. Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

8. This is a casual position, please note: Monday and Fridays are essential rostered days for this position, with availability on both days required as a minimum.
