ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Looking for a role where you can grow, feel supported, and make a real difference?
At Employment Plus, you'll join a team that genuinely cares about you and the people we support. Your work will help individuals with a disability, injury or health condition build confidence, independence and a future they can be proud of.
We're excited to welcome a new Assistant Employment Consultant to our Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. Unlike traditional employment services, IEA offers:
You'll support people across the Northern Sydney and Northern Beaches regions, working with individuals in the surrounding areas as they move toward sustainable employment.
You'll join a team where respect, support and recognition are more than just words. You'll be trusted to do your best work, given opportunities to grow, and be part of one of Australia's most trusted charities.
Ready to be part of a team where you're seen, heard and valued? Let's talk.
As an Inclusive Employment Australia Assistant Employment Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
Industry experience is not essential. This is an excellent entry point into Employment Services and the Inclusive Employment Australia program. As an Assistant Employment Consultant, you'll support participants and the wider team while developing your skills and knowledge of the industry. We're looking for someone with strong people skills, sound administration and time management capabilities, and a genuine desire to help others achieve their employment goals. Experience in customer service, administration, retail, recruitment or community services can provide a great foundation for success in this role.
