Intermediate Accountant

One of Australia's leading Boutique firms of Chartered Accountants is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intermediate accountant to join our exciting and dynamic team.

This is a great role for anyone looking for an opportunity to fast track their career. With regular touch points with the Managing Director.

You will work on an outstanding client base, including some of Australia's highest profile companies and individuals.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS’s for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF’s

• Preparation of FBT returns

• Liaison with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and the ASIC

• Preparation of correspondence with clients

• Reviewing work and providing technical guidance to junior staff

• Reporting to the Managing Director, and working together to achieve goals for our clients, for our team and for Bell Partners collectively

About You;

• Degree qualified

• CA qualification or near completion

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Chartered Accounting practice

• Experience working autonomously on:

  • Financial statements, tax returns and BAS’s for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF’s

  • FBT returns

  • ATO and ASIC liaison

• Experience and proficiency with Xero including Practice Manager, MS Word and MS Excel would be beneficial

• Strong desire to succeed and achieve goals both as a team and individually

• Enjoy providing exceptional service to clients
