Your Role

Roadwest Transport is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of Forklift operator / Yards person.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery: Drive forklifts to load, unload, stack, and move goods.

• Maintain the yard: Keep work areas clean, hazard-free, and tidy.

• Manage stock: Check inventory, count items, and place goods in correct zones.

• Safety checks: Complete daily pre-start checks on equipment and follow safety rules.

• Manual tasks: Assist with general labor and ad-hoc site duties when not driving.

Job Requirements

• Valid licence: Current High Risk Work LF Forklift Licence.

• Driver's licence: Valid C class driver's licence.

• Physical fitness: Ability to lift heavy items and stay active on your feet.

• Communication: Good spoken skills to talk with truck drivers and team members.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic and focus on workplace safety.

• Must have PR or be an Australian Citizen. Or be in possession of valid work visa and be on shore.
  
  

Preference will be given to candidates who have a valid HC Licence
