About the role

We are seeking a Building Administrator to join our team on a full time basis at our Derrimut office!

Some of the key responsibilities include: 

• Proactively managing stakeholder expectations by ensuring they are regularly updated of the status of construction progress

• Liaise with all stakeholders in a professional and positive manner at all times

• Ensure all jobs are up to date in Software System - On Site Companion (OSC) and that all communications are logged

• General administration, including preparing the Building Contract documentation for presentation and signing

• Create variations where applicable

• Attend weekly department meetings to report on results and action any items

• Meet targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as set out by the Manager

• Maintain job files with relevant contract, variations and other required documentation

• Ensure all Building Permits requirements are met to avoid unnecessary delays

• Coordinate the installation of gas line/ meters

• Setting up of site folders with specific site plans and OHS requirements 

What we're looking for

To be considered, you should possess: 

• Minimum 12 months' customer service and administration experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

• Experience in the Construction industry is advantageous

• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Professional presentation skills

• Computer literacy skills required, outlook, word excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage in verbal interaction with clients

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Exceptional organisation and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
