Senior Manager People Partnering - 12-Month Contract

As our highly valued Senior Manager People Partnering, you'll be a trusted advisor and coach to Executives and Senior Leaders, translating business priorities into people solutions that strengthen performance, capability and culture.

Based in either Brisbane or Sydney, you'll be part of our People and Well-Being team within People and Culture, partnering across the business and with our Centres of Excellence to deliver the people agenda and support the moments that matter for our people.

You'll make an impact by:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to Executives and Senior Leaders, providing coaching, challenge and advice on complex people and organisational priorities
• Developing and delivering divisional People Plans aligned to business and organisational priorities
• Partnering with the business and Centres of Excellence on workforce planning, capability uplift, talent pipelines, succession and development
• Using workforce data and insights to identify emerging risks and opportunities and inform people decisions
• Partnering with our Centres of Excellence to shape leadership development, team effectiveness, culture and engagement initiatives
• Leading and supporting organisational change, culture change and operating model initiatives
• Championing enterprise-wide people initiatives across performance, diversity and inclusion, engagement, wellbeing and change
• Ensuring people practices align with risk, conduct, compliance and legal obligations, while providing advice on more complex employee matters
• Mentoring and supporting Business Partners, P&C Advisors and colleagues across the broader People and Culture team

This is an opportunity to play an influential role in shaping the people agenda across Great Southern Bank. You'll work closely with senior leaders to understand their business priorities and turn them into practical, future-focused people strategies that create lasting impact.

You'll bring together commercial thinking, people expertise, data and strong relationships to help leaders navigate complexity and change. From workforce planning and leadership capability to culture, talent and organisational change, you'll help ensure our people initiatives are embedded, sustainable and aligned to where the business is heading.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• 10+ years' experience in senior or strategic People Business Partnering roles
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Executives and Senior Leadership teams to deliver strategic people solutions
• Strong knowledge of contemporary people practices and experience supporting the development of future-fit organisations
• Proven experience translating business priorities into practical people, workforce and capability strategies
• Strong commercial acumen, influencing and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
• Experience leading or supporting organisational and enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and consultation skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships
• Experience in employee relations, organisational development or change would be highly regarded
