Join ACOR's growing Sydney Electrical team and work on a diverse portfolio of Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial projects across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with 2-6 years of building services experience who is looking to accelerate their career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Based in our Sydney CBD office, you'll enjoy hybrid working, exposure to a broad range of projects and clients, and the opportunity to collaborate with our national Electrical team. You'll be supported by experienced engineers and project leaders who are invested in your professional growth while giving you the autonomy to take ownership of your work and develop your technical expertise.

The Role

• Contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across Defence, Health, Government, Commercial and Industrial sectors, from concept through to construction.

• Prepare engineering designs, calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation in accordance with Australian Standards and ACOR's quality framework.

• Undertake site inspections, liaise with clients, contractors and authorities, and provide engineering support throughout project delivery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and ACOR's national Electrical team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

• Manage project tasks to agreed timeframes and budgets while continuing to grow your technical and consulting capabilities.

About You

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and 2-6 years' experience in building services consulting.

• Experience in the design of building services electrical systems, including power, lighting, communications and associated infrastructure.

• Working knowledge of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards and local authority requirements.

• Proficiency in electrical design software such as PowerCad, AGi32, Bluebeam and similar industry tools.

• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine desire to learn, develop and build your career within a growing consultancy.
