Electrical Apprentice - Solar Installer

SolarHub is a rapidly growing renewable energy business who specialise in Solar, Batteries, Air-Conditioning and other appliances to electrify the home or business in ACT and NSW. We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Apprentices or Trade Assistants to join our Wollongong team.  

At SolarHub we believe in a work life balance and therefore all employees work a 9 day fortnight. Enjoy every second Friday off! 

What we are looking for:

• Current driver’s license

• White card

• Working at heights card - desirable 

• Asbestos awareness card - desirable 

• Experience working on roofs or in solar highly desirable. 

• Good communication skills

• Customer focused attitude

• Positive and up-beat team player

• Commitment to safety for self and others

• Reliable, motivated with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the electrical site supervisor to install domestic solar PV systems, including batteries

• Installation of rooftop framing system including feet, rail, and solar panels

• Maintenance of solar PV systems

• Provide daily notes on progress of work

• Other general tasks as required
