We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Program Managers, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, customer communication, commercial management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Operations Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of projects from planning through to completion.

• Coordinate and oversee project personnel, including employees and subcontractors.

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with scope, quality and contractual requirements.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and resource plans.

• Manage contract administration, including notices, correspondence and commercial obligations.

• Identify, document and manage project variations, ensuring customer approval is obtained.

• Monitor project progress and provide timely reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinate labour, materials, tools, equipment and plant to meet project requirements.

• Support customers with technical information and project solutions.

• Facilitate effective management of company assets, including vehicles and equipment.

Customer Relations & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication.

• Provide clear updates regarding project scope, timing, costs and progress.

• Deliver a professional customer experience before, during and after project completion.

• Conduct post-project reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

People Leadership

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to project teams.

• Communicate clear expectations, roles and responsibilities.

• Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

• Ensure employees are appropriately trained and competent for assigned tasks.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety and continuous improvement.

Commercial Performance

• Manage project budgets, job costing and productivity targets.

• Monitor project financial performance and identify risks or opportunities.

• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timeframes.

• Accurately document and cost scope changes and project variations.

• Maintain a strong understanding of customer contract requirements and commercial obligations.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements.

• Stay current with industry standards, regulations and emerging technologies.

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, systems and project delivery outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Electrical Trade Qualification, Electrical Engineering qualification or tertiary management qualification.

• Proven experience in a Project Manager role within the electrical, industrial, mining, construction or related industry.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Strong contract and commercial management experience.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Desirable

• Mine site project experience.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

• Knowledge of mining, industrial maintenance and shutdown environments.

• Relevant site inductions and certifications.
