Top Cut Foods is Australia’s national specialist butcher, supplying premium meat products to foodservice, hospitality, healthcare, education and institutional customers across the country.

With seven processing and distribution facilities nationwide and more than 40 years of industry success, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth through our Top Cut 2.0 transformation strategy. As we continue building a more data-driven and commercially focused business, we are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team and help shape the future of our pricing strategy.

This is a newly created, high-impact role reporting directly to the CFO, offering a rare opportunity to influence key commercial decisions across a national business.

This is not a traditional pricing administration position.

As our Pricing Analyst, you will become the trusted pricing expert for the business, analysing market trends, input costs and customer profitability to drive informed pricing decisions that support sustainable growth and margin performance.

You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement and Operations, providing the insights and commercial analysis that underpin our pricing strategy and profitability.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Top Cut Foods' national pricing framework.
• Analyse market movements, supplier costs and pricing trends to support strategic pricing decisions.
• Develop and maintain pricing and margin models across multiple product categories.
• Monitor livestock and wholesale protein markets, translating cost changes into actionable recommendations.
• Support customer pricing reviews, tenders, contract renewals and commercial proposals.
• Deliver pricing, profitability and margin reporting to executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, optimise pricing structures and reduce revenue leakage.
• Build financial models and commercial scenarios to support business planning and decision-making.
• Maintain pricing governance processes, controls and approval frameworks.
• Act as the key pricing partner across Sales, Procurement, Finance and Operations teams.

About You

You are commercially minded, analytical and confident working with large volumes of data to solve complex business problems. You enjoy balancing customer competitiveness with profitability and are comfortable influencing decisions across multiple stakeholders.

To Be Successful, You'll Bring:

• 3+ years' experience in pricing, commercial analysis, revenue management, category management or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
• Experience building financial models and using data to support business decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• The ability to communicate insights clearly to both operational and executive stakeholders.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
• Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within food manufacturing, foodservice, FMCG, wholesale distribution or protein-based industries.
• Knowledge of food costing, margin management and pricing principles.
• Exposure to livestock, meat processing or agricultural supply chains.
• Experience working within a multi-site national business.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools.
