Apprentice Fitter & Machinist

The group consists of highly specialised business units in the fields of fluid power, electro-hydraulic engineering and design, undercarriages and specialised maintenance and project services.

Motion Engineering and Services (Hydraquip) also acts as a full-service provider to facilitate maintenance, refurbishment, repairs and overhauls throughout the entire life cycle of industry equipment and machinery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and have a strong desire to become fully qualified in this field. You will be provided on the job training while completing your trades qualification will full support throughout your studies.

The Role:

• Full time permanent opportunity
• Apprenticeship placement with exposure to heavy industry
• Supporting major local industry
• Working with a diversified group of tradespeople, engineers, and salespeople
• Diversified business with career growth opportunities
• Learn from experienced professionals
• 38-hour week – 8am to 4:30pm each day with monthly RDO
• OT hours are available as per business requirements
• On the job training is provided for repair and testing equipment

To be successful in this role you need:

• Desire to learn and understand mechanical systems
• Enthusiastic attitude
• Valid driver’s license desirable
• Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
• Clear communication skills
