Regional Manager - South QLD

Centurion is seeking a high-impact Regional Manager – South Queensland to take ownership of operational performance across a critical region. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll drive efficiency, lead high-performing teams, and deliver reliable, profitable freight outcomes.

You will be accountable for the overall success of the South Queensland region - ensuring our network operates safely, efficiently, and in line with business strategy.

What You’ll Do

Operational Leadership

• Lead and mentor Branch Operations Managers and regional teams to deliver consistent, high-performance outcomes
• Drive execution of operational plans, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee scan compliance, invoicing accuracy, and service delivery standards
• Partner with Business Development to support regional growth initiatives

Financial Performance

• Deliver against budget and drive profitability across the region
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising service
• Optimise asset utilisation and manage labour efficiency across operations
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce asset and equipment costs

People & Culture

• Build a strong, engaged and high-performing culture aligned to Centurion’s RIPPA values
• Lead performance reviews, succession planning, and capability development
• Identify training needs and ensure operational competency across all teams

Safety & Compliance

• Lead from the front on safety, driving strong HSE performance across the region
• Manage TRIFR, CIFR and critical risk metrics to achieve targets
• Ensure compliance with CRAs, toolbox talks, inspections and incident management processes
• Foster a proactive safety culture across all sites

What You Bring

• Proven leadership experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain environments
• Strong operational and commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results
• Experience managing large, multi-site operations and leading leaders
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive change, continuous improvement, and accountability
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business Management or similar (or equivalent industry experience)
