The Opportunity

Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals Processing Brownfields team located in Adelaide. If you're a self-motivated, results-driven individual passionate about developing your engineering skills and experience, this role is for you.

This position reports directly to the Mechanical Team Lead and involves developing mechanical design solutions and associated design deliverables on projects from concept through to detailed design for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, engineering scopes and other design documentationPerform mechanical and piping design calculations and analysisDevelop mechanical and piping design conceptsLiaise with equipment vendors and obtain inputs for the engineering designProvide engineering inputs to 3D modelling and 2D drawingsPerform tasks in accordance with project budgets and schedules

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

The candidate must demonstrate the following attributes;

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design/consultancy environmentSound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Ability to work independently and seek guidance where necessaryEffective verbal and written communication skillsClear and concise technical writing skills
