About the role

Aero Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team in Melton.

This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and can maintain accuracy and focus when completing repetitive production tasks.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of steel tubular products and related components

• Cutting, sawing, grinding, deburring, drilling, expanding, notching and polishing

• Pressure testing finished products and components

• Operating industrial machinery including metal polishers, presses, drills, saws, stamping machines and laser etchers

• Using machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

• Assisting other members of the production team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous factory, manufacturing or metalwork experience is preferred, but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

• Ability to maintain focus, consistency and precision when performing routine tasks

• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn

• Good physical fitness and stamina for a manufacturing environment

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
