We're looking for a passionate Venue Manager to help create the energy, culture, and guest experience that will make Yo-Chi Hobart something truly special.

About the Role
The best part about Yo-Chi has always been our people. As a Venue Manager, you'll help create the positive energy we're known for while building a high-performing team and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
 
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days look the same. You'll coach and develop your team, keep operations running smoothly and drive venue performance. From celebrating team wins to achieving commercial targets, you'll play a key role in shaping what Yo-Chi looks and feels like in Tasmania.

What you'll be doing

• Lead from the front – deliver outstanding guest experiences and set the standard for your team every shift.
• Develop great people – provide ongoing training, feedback, and support to help team members grow and perform at their best.
• Drive performance – support sales growth while managing labour and COGS to achieve commercial targets.
• Own the day-to-day – oversee rostering, stock management, ordering, cash handling, venue administration, and compliance.
• Build an incredible culture – recruit, onboard, lead, and retain a team that 'SHARES THE CHI'!
• Champion operational excellence – ensure exceptional standards across guest experience, product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Lead with accountability – take ownership of venue performance, team engagement, training completion, and operational execution.
• Connect with community – support local marketing initiatives and help grow the Yo-Chi love in Hobart.

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership experience within hospitality, retail, or QSR environments.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of labour management, COGS, and driving venue performance.
• Confidence managing day-to-day operations, administration, compliance, and stock control.
• Availability across a flexible Monday to Sunday rotating roster.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about people, culture, and creating memorable guest experiences.

To set you up for success ahead of the Hobart opening, this role will require approximately 4 weeks of paid training in Melbourne, VIC prior to launch. Travel and accommodation support will be provided.
