About the role
Join Families Together to support children and families through strengths-based, trauma-informed casework.
About The Role:
As a Case Worker in the Families Together program, you'll support families experiencing complex challenges across the Northern Sydney District. Through regular home visits, you'll build trusted relationships and deliver intensive, child-centred, strengths-based support tailored to each family's needs. Using culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice, you'll complete assessments, develop family-led plans, and coordinate practical and therapeutic supports. Working alongside families and partner services, you'll help strengthen parenting capacity, reduce risk, and improve safety and wellbeing so children and young people can remain safely with their families. The Families Together Team provide coordinated, family‑centred support to prevent children entering out‑of‑home care by delivering practical, evidence‑informed intervention that strengthens parenting capacity and improves child safety, wellbeing, and family functioning.
