About the Role
William Campbell Foundation's Carer Assessment and Recruitment Program works in direct partnership with our Permanency Support Program to provide ongoing recruitment and supports for Foster, Relative and Kinship Carers.
The aim of the Carer Assessment and Recruitment Program is to support the provision of safe and stable homes for children and young people through permanency, safety and protection with a focus on improving cultural, social, emotional, health and educational outcomes.
Key Requirements
Minimum Diploma Level Qualifications in a relevant field (for example: Community Services, Youth Work)
Preferable experience working with Children, Young People and/or Families.
Knowledge and understanding of issues arising for children, young people and families when children and young people are placed in out of home care.
Self motivation and high level communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level organisational skills and attention to detail - to meet the administrative needs of the position.
Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check.
Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence (C Class or Higher).
Access to two referees from current or previous Managers (within the last 2 - 5 years)
