Operations Officer

About the role

The Operations Officer will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of ACJC's aircraft. This role will report to the Operations Manager Corporate Jets and Operations Manager Large Jets and work closely with the ACJC Operations team to ensure that all flights operate to required safety and commercial requirements and standards whilst delivering on customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the Operations Managers (Corporate Jets and Large Jets) to manage all daily operations related to the ACJC fleet

• Responding to charter brokers and other customers seeking to charter ACJC aircraft

• Performing all ground handling duties including aircraft towing marshalling and cleaning, catering, flight following, seeking Customs, Immigration and Quarantine approvals and availability for international flights

• Ensuring that the hangar and all office spaces are clean and are safe work environments

• Checking and maintaining all relevant company assets in support of aircraft operations

• Regular updating of flight crew availability and rostering for required airframes

• Liaison as required with HAAMC to ensure the aircraft airworthiness and safety requirements are being met

• Liaison with external suppliers (e.g. Air Service Australia, FBOs, refuelling companies, catering companies, aircraft cleaning etc) to ensure each flight operates in a seamless manner consistent with planned operations

• Ensuring that high quality client relationships and interactions are maintained

• Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required

• Operational knowledge related to aircraft operations

• Strong understanding of aviation operations, safety management systems (SMS), and civil aviation legislation

• Previous Corporate Aviation or Airline experience within an FBO and/or ground handling experience will be highly regarded
