At Visy Logistics, we're expanding rapidly and investing in the people, systems and leadership needed to support our next phase of growth. As part of this journey, we're creating a new Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner positions to provide dedicated support across our logistics network.

This is an opportunity to step into a newly created role where you'll have genuine ownership, autonomy and the ability to influence how safety is embedded across a growing operational business.

About the role:

Reporting to the HSW Manager, you'll partner closely with operational leaders across warehousing, transport and logistics operations to drive a proactive safety culture.

This is a highly visible, field-based role. You'll spend your time where the work happens, building relationships, coaching leaders and supporting teams to manage risk effectively.

No two days will look the same. One day you may be supporting a warehouse operation, the next investigating an incident, reviewing heavy vehicle compliance or working with leaders to improve site safety performance.

What you’ll do:

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Partner with operational leaders to improve HSW performance across the network
• Conduct site visits, audits and risk assessments
• Coach and support leaders to build strong safety cultures
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Support contractor management and compliance activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide practical advice on operational risk management
• Support heavy vehicle compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

What you will bring:

We're looking for someone with strong operational safety experience who enjoys working closely with frontline teams.

You'll bring:

• Experience within logistics, transport, warehousing or related operational environments
• Strong understanding of risk management and safety systems
• Exposure to heavy vehicle operations and Chain of Responsibility requirements (highly regarded)
• Experience with areas such as traffic management, contractor management, LOTO, working at heights or high-risk operational activities
• The ability to influence, coach and build credibility at all levels of the business

Most importantly, you're a practical, hands-on safety professional who partners with people rather than polices them.
