An opportunity exists to join HCA as a Field Service Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic for our Gunnedah Branch. In this role, you will provide diagnostic, repairs, and maintenance services to multiple sites, shutdowns and customer fleets across customer Mining and Construction Projects. This role is perfect for someone focused on quality service, proactive problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service outcomes.

The Opportunity

Reporting To The Service Coordinator, Your Responsibilities Include

Diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading Hitachi machineryResponding to breakdowns and conducting diagnosticsJoining the build team to commission new equipmentCompleting and submitting required documentationMaintaining strong relationships with customers, peers, and departments

About You

Safety Commitment: A proactive approach to safety, prioritizing precaution and duty of care. Personal Drive: Positive, proactive relationship-building attitude. Creative Problem Solver: Creative problem solver, improving efficiency, minimizing rework. Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Mechanics or equivalent. Experience & Skillset: Experienced diesel mechanics, OEM, excavator diagnostics expertise are a plus. Customer Focus: Customer-focused, effective planning, quality outcomes.
